I was recently turned onto a wonderful arts and travel blog that I just have to share! The blog, MuseumChick, is run by Danée, a student of Museum Studies and long-time lover of museums. Her quirky bio relates how her aunt and uncle used to take her to museums in New York City and struck up a passion in her. She lived in Europe for a year after school, exploring all the museums Europe has to offer. The blog, she says, was a way of tracking her travels and findings. Apart from a wonderful ability to write about museums, I am completely enthralled with her photos and subject matter. The MuseumChick doesn’t just cover formal museums (i.e. art, history, natural history, etc.), but everything from chateaux to a butter museum in St. Malo, France. She also gets to travel through all the places in the world that I am longing to see. I am currently wading through her site, living vicariously through Danée. Take a look and see some of her beautiful photos, especially those from her recent trip to Chenenceaux!

In other news, I just completed my wedding invitations today. I can’t wait to share them with you (I am extremely proud of my work), but several circumstances are holding me back. The biggest reason is a slight problem with my camera, which needs some repair. I also only mailed the invites today and would like people to get them before I share. But I know I have you on the edge of your seats, so I won’t keep you waiting too long! Cheers!
